California artist, Marsha Bowers will be showing her latest works at The Artists Alley Fine Arts Gallery from Oct. 8 to Dec 31, 2009. The opening will be held on Oct 8, 2009
from 4pm - 8 pm. Refreshments will be served.

The artist's exhibit showcases her latest work of women's figurative work and portraits.
"Awakenings" the title of one of paintings that will be exhibited is the inspiration for the collection.
Her newest works represent her inner most feelings, life experiences, dreams and her vision.
Her woman's portraits and figurative works take on a dream like quality.
Through them she paints the images to reflect beauty and hope as this is how the artist sees life in general.
Her paintings convey an earthly and spiritual quality.


Marsha's most recent paintings are a reflection of her love for fine art and decorative art.
She is now experimenting with combining these two genres by adding gilding and trompe l’oeil within the paintings.
She finds this to be the perfect marriage of her skills.

About the Artist

Marsha Bowers is a California artist whose works include both fine and decorative art. Her business name is Zulim Bowers Designs.
She is classically trained and her paintings skills also include decorative art such as gilding, marbling, wood graining, furniture painting and trompe l'oeil.

Marsha's paintings have been purchased by many private and commercial collectors throughout the United States and internationally.
She also has applied her decorative art skills to many homes and business in the US and Canada.
