Come take part in the festivities on Saturday, May 16 from 12 to 4 p.m. There’ll be free fun for all ages, including prizes, face painting, games and balloon art. Live radio broadcast by Wink 96.9 will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Pick-up some free give-a-ways and enter to win the grand prize of a Nintndo Wii system. There will also be free food by Pop’s Barbeque, snacks and refreshments throughout the day.
While you’re there, take a campus tour and see first-hand what Southwest Florida College has to offer. It’s as if you have walked straight into a doctor’s clinic – with an X-Ray machine, scales, microscopes, sterile wash stations, and even an operating room. These features and more are the cornerstone of the fourth and newest campus of Southwest Florida College, where students roll up their sleeves to draw blood on each other and use technological advancements such as SMART Boards and mobile wireless computer labs to train for in-demand careers in hospitals and health-care settings.
